Twenty-five youth and adults from Lord of
Glory arrived safely and are working hard to provide assistance to
victims of Hurricane Katrina through the ministry of Camp Restore.

Worked hard with
justin and jordan being spartans while sheetrocking at troy's house.
Troy had no bed so camp restore gave him a cot and he also has
little food. I'm having a great time helping and serving God!!

Today was a very eventful day...panels got pulled inside the house,
but the majority of the work was done on the yard and the outside of
the house. There was still lots of mowing to be done and trees
and bushes to be cut down. The back yard was like a jungle,
couldn't even walk from one side to the other, but looked great by
the end of the day. Then Pastor Ed showed up around 11.
He brought the bobcat. Hooray (for Dan!) He got to "test" it out.
Who knew he could pick up a fridge. Needless to say we got much work
done and we all had a great time. I know I did. I hope
to have the same amazing experience the rest of my days here.
God has a definite mission for us to serve. I am happy to help
in every way possible. ~ Alisyn
