Pastor Mably
Marty was born in Springfield, Illinois. Marty graduated from Western Illinois University in 1992 with a B.A. degree in Music Business and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1994 with a M.A. in Arts Administration (Non-Profit Management).
Marty served at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bloomington, Illinois from 1998 to 2003 as Director of Youth and Family Ministry.
In 2003 Marty started his pastoral education at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. Marty served his vicarage from 2006-2007 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and School in Springfield, Illinois.
In the summer of 2007, Pastor Mably received his M. Div. degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. Pastor Mably was ordained and installed as Associate Pastor at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and School on July 8, 2007. In March of 2010 he accepted a call to serve as Pastor at Lord of Glory.
Pastor Mably is richly blessed by his wife Anissa and two daughters Enya and Erin. He enjoys spending time with his family, running, fishing and reading.
